Nodes
Nodes and Node References
Nodes and node references are fundamental objects that form the world:
- Node is any object with the .node extension that is present in the world (whether visible or not) and specifically positioned and oriented.
- Node Reference is a reference to the external .node file that can be used as a reference to other objects.
Base Nodes
Base nodes are not present in the world visually and perform the following actions:
- Dummy Node basically serves as a parent to organize other node into a hierarchy.
- Layer serves as a parent for other nodes and along with this nodes can be saved into a separate .node file.
- Pivot creates a new pivot point for its children nodes.
- Trigger fires callbacks when it is enabled/disabled or its position has been changed.
