The full-screen Sobel postprocess material performs edge detection. It creates black outlines around edges where color differences in neighboring pixels are detected. (See how to use postprocess materials).
The lower the value, the less edges are rendered. The filter will be less sensitive to noise and lighting changes. However, subtle edges may appear ruptured or may be not rendered at all.
The higher the value, the more and the thicker edges are rendered.
By the minimum value of 0, there are no edges at all.

The higher the value, the more desaturated, whitened the colors are.
By the minimum value of 1, the whole screen will be white.
By the minimum value of 0, the viewport colors are not affected by the Sobel postprocess filter.
