sebastian.vesenmayer
Hello, we try to simulate ground fog with a 3D cumulonimbus cloud. We therefore changed the thickness of the cloud, but when we go below 20 units circles appear in the cloud, which does not look very good. Is there any way to changes this? Layer height of 19: Layer height of 20: Thanks :) Link to comment
silent
Hi Sebastian, Cumulonimbus clouds are not supposed to be so thin, so I would recommend to try a different preset. And you also can try to move the cloud node below the ground and avoid chaning the cloud layer height. silent
Please let us know if that's somehow will work in your case :) Regarding the ground fog in general there should be a better approach with simple volumetric object, but atm built-in volumetrics are not ready for that kind of tasks. We plan to improve them in the future updates, so it would be really nice if you have some specific requirements for ground fog that we can take a look at before the actual development will start.
