jherpoel
Hello,I'm using unigine 2.3. I have an object made with 3dsmax which is skinned with the skinned modifier. I'm trying to import the .mesh of the skinned object into the engine. My issu is that I'm loosing the Smooting groups/ Vertex normal information. It works normally if I import de object without the skinning. I would really appreciate any help on this one :) Link to comment
silent
jherpoel Could you please give us some step-by-step reproduction of this behavior? If possible could you please also attach your model (or PM me if it's under NDA) in original 3ds max format? Thanks! silent
Thank you for the test models. To avoid loosing smoothing groups on export you need to place FW Normals modifier after the Skin: How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN Link to comment
