werner.poetzelberger
The Sunshadows behave in a weird way, when hitting the water surface. Where does this behavior come from? Thx. Werner Link to comment
werner.poetzelberger
Okay, .... I found out, that it has something to do with the softness. This when turn the softness OFF in the > Rendering > Shadows > Softness, then the shadow is hard on the water as well. But it doesnt correspond with the softness Slider of the world Light. Turning the slider to 0 makes all the shadows on the hard surfaces hard, but leaves it on on the water. Is there a distinct factor somewhere, which regulates the softness for the water?? Best. sebastianbah
Hi Werner, I'm afraid, we can't reproduce such issue, so it would be helpful if you can send us a minimal test scene with a stick, water and problematic sun position. Thanks! Link to comment
