phil.marcks
hi!i'm curious about correct workflow regarding texture and scene-gamma.if all my textures and lightmaps would be linear and i then apply 2,2 gamma without Using srgb turned on, my color-space should be correct- right? - but i needed 16bit floating-point textures.so when using 8bit textures and lightmaps, them textures should be gamma-corrected to srgb beforehand ,.. and then i turn on "Use srgb" !? , but still apply my gamma-correction of 2,2!?what about cube-maps? - i guess, i need also gamma-correct the cube-maps then.i'm a bit unsure what is the right way with unigine to achive correct colorspace, like it's common with for instance vray or mental-ray.regardsPhil Link to comment
sebastianbah
Hi,You don't need to set gamma-correction directly, it's considered automaticly. Link to comment
