anthony.mann
Not sure if this has been brought up before, but does the engine support vertex painting on my meshes? I thought I saw something about it being added soon, but haven't seen anything in the engine. Also, are there any plans to support a node based material editor? I think it adds such a flexibility to the artist to be able to plug textures in with a node based setup, as opposed to what is available now. Link to comment
binstream
Vertex color isn't supported at the moment. Link to comment
werner.poetzelberger
I was working with Shader FX http://www.lumonix.net/shaderfx.html for some time (not for use with Unigine) , but realized, that it is only useful for basic shader code. Maybe also something like Fx Composer makes sense? https://developer.nvidia.com/fx-composer cheers Werner Link to comment
anthony.mann
Thanks Werner! I'll look into FX Composer. It looks like the Shader FX guy got hired by Autodesk and doesn't support that software anymore. Binstream - are there any plans for vertex painting? It's a huge help for hiding repeating textures.
