werner.poetzelberger
Hello, how/where can the texture address mode be defined? I have copied the parallax decal material and put on my on texture. My texture is clamped while the original one is wrapped. Can this be encoded in the texture itself? EDIT: strange behavior for me, as also on a mesh_base material on a plane (i imported a simple plane from 3dsmax), the texture is not tiled but clamped. (I attached another image) I guess I made something wrong. I think I messed something up with materials. Best. Werner log.html Link to comment
silent
Hi Werner, Could you please provide us simple test scene for reproduction? Thanks! werner.poetzelberger
Hello silent, yes, of yourse! here it comes. Best. W. Edit: I think I messed up the material inherit order. If you detete the decal materials in the aWorld_mat.mat, save it. Close the editor and open it again, the tiling is restored on the mesh_base_1 material. This seems to be a bit strange to me. Is there any connection between decal and mesh_base material? best. aWorld.rar Link to comment
sebastianbah
Hi Werner, Many thanks for test scene. This behavior might be caused by changes in mash_base material. In other cases there should be no dependencies between decal and mesh_base materials. Link to comment
