mathias.poupard
Hello, We are developing visualization software using Unigine and we currently have an issue with lens flares in all our scenes. Those exhibit a very strong pink hue and some green as well, as illustrated on screenshot below (the light is at the gizmo location) : We fiddled with the settings a lot, hereafter are the ones we use currently: RGBA lens color : 73/73/73/255 (darkish grey) RGB lens dispersion : 1.0/1.0/1.0 lens length : 0.7 lens threshold : 0.0 lens scale : 0.0 <-> 5.0 lens radius : 0.0 HDR adaptation : 0.0 HDR min luminance : -0.24 HDR max luminance : 0.2 HDR threshold : 1.5 HDR small exposure : 0.256 HDR medium exposure : 0.35 HDR large exposure : 0.7 HDR bright exposure : 0.5 We do not witness this in the Unigine editor when we apply the same lens parameters (notably lens RGB dispersion) so we must be missing something. Obviously, the higher the HDR exposure and the brighter the scene, the more noticeable the effect. Any idea about what could be causing this effect? Some other parameter we overlooked? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
silent
Hi, Could you please provide simple test scene, so our 3d artists can take a look at it? Thanks! mathias.poupard
Hello, This issue was due to one of the component of the "lens dispersion" vector3 parameter getting set to an erroneous negative value in our low-level code just before being passed to the engine. We could not provide any test scene because we could not reproduce it in the Unigine editor. So if you are reading this and are having a similar problem, double and triple check again all the parameters you feed Unigine with ! ;) Link to comment
