danni.coy Posted August 16, 2012 Share Posted August 16, 2012 I have material with the auxiliary pass set to default. I have an auxiliary colour defined in the material. I can see this colour in a buffer when I press 5. How do I get it this to overlay my mesh in the main veiwport? [edit] solved one has to 1) make sure that auxilary is enabled in render settings (esc key menu). 2) create a child material of render_composite. set the auxilary to overlay. 3) use the render settings to add that material as the composite shader.
