Rob
I got a mesh in my scene, a large tunnel with only 500 polygons with 2 UV sets Whenever I try to generate a lightmap for it the editor freezes and my cpu goes to 100%, I left it running for 30 minutes but it was still stuck It freezes as soon as I press Create lightmaps I only got 2 lights in my scene a spotlight and a sunlight, does anyone know what could be wrong? Am I using the wrong lights? **Edit:** For some reason the lightprob number is really high, I already tried delting the lights and added only 1 single spotlight but the number stays high Link to comment
frustum
Increase the step of LightProb grid to reduce the number of probe lights. Light-mapper generates heap of virtual LightProb sources to simulate global illumination. Moreover you can specify the bounding mesh to remove unnecessary regions. Link to comment
