marinos.giannoukakis Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 It is almost admirable how much the fps drop when volume is enabled in the sky object. the frames drop from 150 to 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is this a 'normal' behavior? there is a point on my levels where clouds will need to be volumetric how can deal with this massive performance drop? pluton Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I think, your sky object is too low relative to you ground. Increase Z position of th sky to about ~1000..2000 unit (z size of clouds ~700) and decrease min and max slices. Link to comment
