When importing an FBX file there are no textures present and a simple Mesh_Base shader applied. If i select the import materials check box the importer asks to supply an autodesk .mat file - However the 3ds max FBX exporter does not create such a file on exporting.
Is it possible to have materials on imported FBX files, or do we still need to setup unigine materials once the FBX is imported?
I have tried with embed media both ticked and unticked in the FBX export process.
