michael.zhang Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 Hi, I'm not an artist :) so, maybe this is something wrong with my asset: I figured if I just created a .png where in photoshop, the background was transparent, it would be transparent when assigned as diffuse for a billboard. It seems to instead still render a white background. I've attached the texture. I figure it should be doable, I'm probably doing something wrong! Thanks for your help, Michael Zhang Link to comment
ulf.schroeter Posted October 31, 2011 Share Posted October 31, 2011 Try saving the image with transparency as .dds with DXT5 compression (and mipmaps) for import into UNIGINE. Also enable alpha-testing for the used UNIGINE billboard material Link to comment
