werner.poetzelberger
I am working with one Env Cubemap and use the Ambient option. During the night, the ambient is pretty bright on the landscape and the scene. How can I set the ambient intensity? If I do that using the slider, the texture is re rendered. I want to dim down the ambient light. Or is this basically not a clever method as it is only for static light? Best.w Mom. I am confused. Can I use the probe dynamically without the Grab by bake Lighting? Eh. Docu? Edited June 19, 2023 by werner.poetzelberger Link to comment
werner.poetzelberger
Seems to work without baking. Hmmm. okay. Maybe I lacked info. Hmm. Anyway. Can you confirm, that in the case I want to use a dynamic cubemap for refl/ambient, I do NOT need to render a texture with / Grab By Bake Lighting. Very confusing these interface texts.... cheers.w. silent
Hi Werner, Grab by bake lightning only needed when you do a static light baking (in that case offline-calculated lightning can replace data that was originally generated in this probe). Dynamic probe working without baking (since it's dynamic and can adjust itself on fly).
