Jeff_D Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) Hello, wondering what could have caused for an incorrect shadow detached from the object as shown on the image below. Thank you. Edited March 28, 2021 by Jeff_D
silent Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Hi Jeff, Could you please send us your scene (just data folder without any *.ung and *.cache files)? Maybe bias settings needs some tweaks, but it's hard to tell without seeing the scene first. Thanks! How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN

silent Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 Hi Jeff, Thank you for the test scene. You need to tune the Shadow Bias / Normal Bias options (maybe also adjust the shadow resolution to avoid additional artifacts): Thanks! Jeff_D Posted April 6, 2021 Author Posted April 6, 2021 Hi Silent, Setting the Bias to 0 gives a good result. Thank you, Jeff 1
