[SOLVED] point light shadow behavior

Hello, wondering what could have caused for an incorrect shadow detached from the object as shown on the image below. Thank you.

Hi Jeff,

Could you please send us your scene (just data folder without any *.ung and *.cache files)? Maybe bias settings needs some tweaks, but it's hard to tell without seeing the scene first.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for the test scene.

You need to tune the Shadow Bias / Normal Bias options (maybe also adjust the shadow resolution to avoid additional artifacts):

Setting the Bias to 0 gives a good result.
