guo.lun
About the default axial direction of FBX: When I set the forward axis of the model to Y-axis from 3dsmax or blender, the default axis in the engine is -y-axis, but I had to manually set the forward axis to -y-axis again to match the coordinates of the engine. Is this a bug? Both 2.11 and 2.11.0.1 have this problem. Link to comment

romain.janil
Hi, about this, is there a way to make some FBX "import" preference template (depending on DCC tools with different axis convention for example), in order to get the preferences applied automatically? Or is it possible to modify directly the Default preferences ? Thx Link to comment
silent
It's not always possible to find out from which software that FBX was exported. You can import a single FBX file, adjust import settings once and they should apply for the all future FBX files that will be imported after the first one.
