janis.taranda
As stated in "https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.11/objects/objects/terrain/?rlang=cpp" there are 2 types of terrains. Going over the descriptions I still don't understand if I use one or another depending on needs.., or it can be a mix and Global terrain using Landscape terrain? Please help me to understand this. morbid
Hello, Community edition will get updates for LandscapeTerrain only, so there's no actual choice :) TerrainGlobal is used for simulators and can't provide detailing compared to the LandscapeTerrain. Thanks! 1 How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN Link to comment

Thanks! BTW. Can I create LandscapeTerrain purely procedural in C# or C++ ? Some kickstart direction where to look would be highly appreciated (maybe some short example code if it's not to much asked?). Link to comment
