luca.vezzadini
Hi there, I've been searching the doc and the forums but did not find anything about this... sorry if I missed anything. The component approach is powerful to add custom functionality to nodes, and I guess it is a standard approach in several engines. But I seem to understand that in Unigine you can only add one component to any node: is that the case? If yes, it would be a bad limitation as the idea of building block works well if you can add several ones to the same node, each component bringing its specific functionality. Can you help clarify this? Thanks. Luca Link to comment
fox
Hi Luca, In Unigine you can add as many components to a node as you wish, giving it any additional functionality. Please refer to the article on the Component System and this usage example. You can also check the VR Template demo as it is also implemented using the Component System and has some objects with several components attached. Hope this helps! Thank you! 1 Link to comment
