werner.poetzelberger Posted October 30, 2018 Share Posted October 30, 2018 It would be coming in very handy to have the possibility for having different floaters for material and object properties, to be active simultaniously. Often we have the situation, that I have an object active, but want to change material parameters, which is not assigned to that active object. That is not possible by now as the parameter floater changes to the active objects parameters. ATM there is the possibility to lock parameters to specific objects, which is okay. IMO it would be great to have separate material parameters, which are always present. Does that make sense? werner Link to comment
morbid Posted October 31, 2018 Share Posted October 31, 2018 Hi Werner, we'll make the parameters window smarter in the future by adding a filter that will work almost as "lock". For instance, you'll be able to switch the filter to materials only and this will work exactly as "separate material parameters" you're asking for. Not sure about ETA, but this task was given a higher priority recently. Thanks!
