javier.serrano Posted June 14, 2017 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Hi, with new depth_test option in materials, selection effects as highlighting or outlining are now easy to implement and many other post-processing effects are able to achieve. The problem is that these effects use the same auxiliary buffer and make imposible to combine as they use the same auxiliary buffer. Our suggestion is if it is posible to have multiple auxiliary textures and also have an auxiliary mask in base materials to specify in which auxiliary buffers will the object be rendered to. Maybe having 8 auxiliary textures and an 8-bit mask per material will be enough to allow the combination of many post-processing shaders at the same time.
