demostenes
After upgrade to 2.5, there is visible moire on the whole sky, mostly around sun. My desktop color setting is 32bit. Bug? Feature? Change in settings? Thanks. Link to comment
CrackBro
I think this possibly has to do with with post material rendering, because when it is disabled sun is back to normal size. In general, everything becomes overbrightened, no matter how much LUTs are tweaked. ** This is apparently unrelated to the banding/moire that demostenes is experiencing -- banding continues to persist no matter what. However I continue to experience the over exposure problems Link to comment
silent
demostenes Could you please try to enable 16bit screen color precision via render_screen_precision 1 in console. Does this help in your case? silent
demostenes Yes, it's the root cause. It seems that we didn't make in account this settings in migration from 2.4.x to 2.5 and that's why it reset to the wrong '0' value.
