danni.coy
We are looking at setting up a seven screen simulator using Unigine2 (we can probably get it down to 5 or even 3 separate view panes). Is it reasonable to think that we can do this on one computer using modern hardware (it will be a ship simulator with high quality ocean) and would the appWall plugin be the best way to go about achieving this? ivan.cuevas
Hi Danni, We did something very similar with 6 screens and a single computer with a nVidia 980 (4 displays) and another nVidia 720 (2 extra displays). We used AppWall for this project. For another application, we were able to show 8 displays by adding another nVidia 720 in a single computer. But, as far as I know, this is the maxium for a single computer. Regards. Link to comment
danni.coy
How did that go performance wise? Link to comment
ivan.cuevas
The GTX980 was the only one with a heavy GPU charge, the other two only gives extra display outputs. I remember it ran 30-40 fps, depending on the content of the scene. Link to comment
