demostenes
I switched all cities into world layers. Overall world performance is better, but triggering world layer node load always causes lag (which wasnt happening, when objects were in standard layer node). It looks like loading is not happenning in background (or part of it). Link to comment
silent
Hi Jirka, Any reproduction steps? What distance is set in the Load / Clear fields? Can this lag be related just because new objects are started to appear on screen and GPU / CPU is have to render them? Is there any chance to reproduce such behavior on samples/worlds/layer_00?Thanks! Thanks! I ve put load distance 500, unload 600 (but it does not make any difference). Objects are appearing around 300. Btw, unload lags too. Probably not possible to reproduce on sample, my nodes are very heavy, 10000+ objects (at least 200 unique objects, 1000+ textures). Link to comment
paralyzah
Hello Jirka I have successfully reproduced this case with more than 1000 heavy nodes in world layer.I sent this case to our developers and we will look at what can be do Link to comment
