demostenes Posted April 11, 2016 Author Share Posted April 11, 2016 I know, but this terrain texture blending is done via alfa channel. We are using it a lot. This is little bit different case. In this case blend is based on height map, so for example sand will be between stones, unless there are some waves, like in my picture. Link to comment

We add different details on terrain with masks and blend it through alpha channel but in rocks mask we use height map in alpha channel. You can load landscape plugin and tweak value, width and threshold parameters in the Layers inset and re import masks on terrain. You will see that blending takes by heights. Link to comment
