werner.poetzelberger
This is just a 'luxurious' one, but handy i think. As it is not possible to copy text from a material and paste it,, assigning post/render materials is always a bit painful (to a certain degree). It would be handy, if there is a method of either getting access to the text of the material (like of a node) so copiing of the correct name is easy, or have a method with which to select the material(s) directly. Drag and drop would be nice. (I think thats hits in the same direction of a 'handsome' GUI.) thx. w. Link to comment
silent
Hi Werner, You are absoluely right, except that part with material name copying - it is possible, but only in Rename/move material window :) Future UI/UX improvements about this particular use case are planned after asset browser implementation and migration to fully Qt-based editor. Probably it will be some kind of drop-down list, we don't know yet. We will also keep in mind your suggestion about drag-n-drop. Thank you for the feedback!
