vacious
We are attempting to run multiple instances of "objectsky" in order to create multiple cloud layers at different altitudes - We've not had much success so far, parameters from the different layers seem to overwrite eachother. Is it possible to run multiple instances of "objectsky" for this purpose? Link to comment
unclebob
Hello, Ben! It's possible to have multiple ObjectSky nodes, however there might be visual artefacts because of ObjectSky draw order. Link to comment
vacious
Thanks, indeed, many of the artifacts seem to be draw-order related. We cannot find any obvious ways to control the draw order when using multiple ObjectSky nodes - Do you have any tips on how we could resolve this? Link to comment
unclebob
Unfortunately, you can't control their draw order in convenient way. Try to use ObjectVolumeBox (please take a look at <sdkroot>/samples/materials/volume_01 sample) with combination of ObjectSky to simulate multiple cloud layers. Link to comment
