dmitriy.ogorodnikov
Hello ! There is a problem, I can't understand. After the work of our Level Designer a moire has appeared at bushes. If I switch off Depth mask check box, the problem disappears. A couple of days ago I saw this problem on the standard trees, but today they are good. Could you help me to understand this case ? dmitriy.ogorodnikov
Hi Dmitry, Any chance to get the test scene with your models, materials and textures setup? Thanks! I've made two screenshots with standard trees. But now I'm not sure that our designers didn't change materials of these trees. I'll upload project archive a bit later. Thank you for helping. dmitriy.ogorodnikov
I've removed objects that work good to minimize archive size. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxr2sv3jkzzn8wz/UnigineLozhok.zip?dl=0 When I start launcher with DirectX9 I see a picture (1.png - trees with moire) I've posted before. silent
Hi Dmitry, Sorry, but I can't reproduce such behavior with latest AMD driver (14.9) and HD7970 GPU (same with latest nVidia drivers). Could you please try to update AMD GPU driver to the latest one (14.9 Release) and launch your world again? Thanks! dmitriy.ogorodnikov
Hello. I installed latest driver 14.9 Release and it didn't help. I see this problem only when launching at DirectX 9 API It was before installation of latest driver and stays after it. Link to comment
werner.poetzelberger
Have you checked the 'ambient Light' checkbox in the material? It seems more like a render order issue, as the alpha channel renders towards the background. Link to comment
silent
Is it really neccesery to use Parallax mapping in this material? If you disable Parallax state in material you should get correct results. dmitriy.ogorodnikov
I disable all check boxes like Paralax and others, but moire still was at trees. I found that moire is connected to Ray color at Render Settings. Then I remembered that sometimes in our applications if antialiasing forced enabled at driver (AMD Catalyst Control Center in my case) we can have problems with some posteffects. Unfortunatelly at my computer in AMD CCC was enabled Override application settings. I disable it and problem has gone way. Link to comment
