marina.kovalevskaya
Good day When you import fbx in Unigine editor, using the plugin "AUTODESK FBX IMPORT PLUGIN" is a distortion of the mesh vertices. how to solve the problem? Link to comment
marina.kovalevskaya
This is decided by setting the plugin for 3ds Max and exported to format .mesh Link to comment
silent
Hi Marina, Could you please share with us your original FBX model? Probaly, the reason of such precision issue is model pivot, which located far away from coordinate center (0, 0, 0). Thanks! marina.kovalevskaya
Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, pivot away. Most likely your assumption is correct. You still need our original FBX model? Link to comment
silent
We will need to check this model if precision issue will appear again (after changing pivot to 0,0,0 and reimport FBX). Thanks! marina.kovalevskaya
Attempts to shift the pivot were unsuccessful. Note that the mesh is not proportional. Attach the mesh screen Link to zip fbx: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ektkaaw9x62yac2/border_far.7z Link to comment
silent
Please, enable checkbox Use vertex float in Tools (hotkey T)-> Render settings. By default Z-precision is only half float, so you get vertex deformations in your scene.
