demostenes Posted October 11, 2013 Share Posted October 11, 2013 I think it would be very nice to have painting tool for decal diffuse/mask (DecalTerrainOrtho) like we have for clutters. DecalTeerrainOrtho mask can have 4 channels for 4 texture, so just pick channel and paint in same way like we do for clutters. It will greatly increase productivity, because artist would be paint terrain detail decals in realtime. Link to comment

We would like to develop such functionality by ourselves (huge increase in artists productivity), but currently is not possible to reuse mask editing functions for clutters (by reusing majority of work would be done). Would be possible to "open" these functions so we can parametrize, which files we are reading/writing? Link to comment
