argb restriction for texture masks

It would be nice to be able to restrict which channel of texture mask I am painting (same feature as for clutter masks)  - now it is going throuh all channels and it destroys blends between textures.

Could you be more specific as to where you want it?

 

Terrain splat maps. This feature already works for grass masks, so it shouldnt be big problem to enable it also for terrain masks? Just idea, nothing critical.

 

Now when I thinking more about it, I am not sure, if this is possible at all, because sum for all channels should be 1.
