nat.harrold
Suggestion to add to the front page of the forum a tutorials and tips section. For requesting tutorials and for member and Unigine submitted ones. We all use Unigine in different ways for different purposes and there is a fair community building with many skillled long time users who would know how to use unigine's tools in innovative ways. There could be similar topics as the main page under a main tutorial heading. For artists, coders and programmers. +1 if you think this would be a community asset. Link to comment
ivan.cuevas
I agree with you, there are some interesting tips and code snippets spread around the fourm. Some times are hard to find. Another idea is to have something similar to Ogre's wiki page. Link to comment
binstream
We are pinning useful topics in the corresponding sections, so they are easily accessible Link to comment
nat.harrold
you mean like this gem of a tutorial for artists... https://developer.unigine.com/forum/topic/1833-how-to-create-trees-with-billboard-leaves/ pinned in the programming-->graphics section... :( (I know my artists wouldn't think to go in that section of the forum...) The forum is far more useful now that the search function is working well. Though, I still think a specific place for tutorials would be useful. A place to request tutorials or create tutorial content. Agreed, the forum is full of little snippets and good ideas. There is however, nowhere specific for tutorials (like other engine forums for community contribution). Link to comment
