Rob Posted April 6, 2012 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Im testing the new overlap mode for detail materials but I ran into an issue It doesnt seem to overlap with the other detail materials but its overlapped on the diffuse of the terrain What I tried is to make a circle with a sand detail material and then overlap some rocks on it, I used the texture from the detail material page from the documentation, it uses an alpha channel so only the rocks are being overlapped What am I doing wrong here? I also seem to have an issue when im trying to paint onto the mask, it seems to flicker and I have to spam the Save button or else the editted mask will not appear in the editor even tho it is being stored *Edit* Hmm it seemed after a reboot of the editor it started to work again My guess is that it wasnt using the Addition but the Normal brush The flickering is also gone now Link to comment
