ulf.schroeter Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Hi Philip, this is already a long-lasting topic and there are different paging mechanisms already implemented in UNIGINE (e.g. ObjectTerrain, NodeSector and implicit texture/mask/mesh resource streaming. Have a look at some of these forum threads adressing large world support including streaming/paging At the moment UNIGINE is working on the so called , which should illustrated large world handling and also will provide paging improvements. Still there is some need for optimizations and generalizations (e.g. full support for background paging of complete world node files). Link to comment
