powerspeed_de
6. отмена не работает( 1 at the end of the reference node editing, removed all nodes except the top hierarchy in the list, while it is not an ancestor 2 when you cancel, the changes will still remain, including those that are not needed an example. 1. add a reference node 2. edit, add an object 3. click to apply - to delete objects 4. add object to the node 5. click cancel. 6. cancellation does not work ( Link to comment
manguste
A reference node is still ONE node. If there are more than one roots in the reference node, only the first root will be saved, while all others are discarded. Simply use NodeDummy as a root and attach your meshes as its children. Cannot reproduce the second one - Cancel quits the node reference editing mode without saving any changes. Link to comment

manguste
Thank you, we reproduced it: cancel for node references that are placed inside other node references is not working properly indeed. This bug is submitted to the developers. But it will be fixed only when node references will be redesigned for a new editor. For now, we recommend not to edit node references from inside other node references. The workaround is easy: add them into the world and edit separately. After that, add the final edited variant into another node ref (to be stored and positioned). The safest variant possible is to add a node ref as a mesh, edit it and export into node ref again.
