prashant.suyal
Hi, i have some issue with grass, in editor its working fine even after i quit the editor, but when we test this on in-game, all grass blades grow downwards and become pure black. as you can see in the attached image http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/8598/grassissue.jpg[/img] Link to comment
ashwin.sudhir
Our render settings are the same in-game and in the editor. Can any render state variable affect grass rendering? Also, the grass animation doesn't play in-game. Trees and other vegetation work just fine. Link to comment
frustum
We can't reproduce such wrong behaviour, can you create the small reproduction sample? Link to comment
ashwin.sudhir
I completely understand, frustum. We'll surely try and reproduce this in a small sample if we can. All we were hoping for was some kind of a 'state' that could cause this. You know, like a render_state variable etc. because your team would have most insight on this. E.g. we got an issue yesterday where our decals started alpha-shorting through rocks. Then we turned off antialiasing and everything was fine again. We were hoping this grass thing was something similar. Link to comment
manguste
Just guesswork, may be the player you use in-game has a non-matching Viewport mask with the grass? Link to comment
