Pierre_Bultingaire Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Hello, I'm trying to create a mesh with a complex shape (similar to the ones in the paths samples), to create a navigation mesh and do some path finding. In Unigine, I tried to create multiple plane ObjectMeshStatic, combine them (using Export to Unigine Mesh file) and create a NavigationMesh with the result, but I can't find a route that go through the shape (While it is working if i use one single plane as NavigationMesh) The only solution I found to make it work is the use another software (such as blender) to create my shape and import it into Unigine. Is there a way to create my complex shape mesh in Unigine without using another software ? Thanks, Pierre
silent Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Hi Pierre, Currently, meshes for NavigationMesh can be only created using the 3rd party DCC tools. Maybe it's also possible to implement in a custom Editor plugin as well. We do have research task for implementing navmesh creation inside the Editor, but so far no exact ETA on these improvements, sorry. 1 How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
