Amerio.Stephane Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 (edited) Hi, I'm testing the vr_sample (2.16.1) with a Quest (with air link enabled to a PC), but there is no vibration at all in the controllers. In the sample, the vibration is activated when you touch a movable object with a controller with this line of code: oculus.setControllerVibration(OCULUS_DEVICE_CONTROLLER_LEFT, 100, amplitude * 0.25f); Can you confirm that it should work with a Quest with air link? What should I do to make it work then? (Of course, the controller vibrates correctly in other games...) Thanks! Edited January 13, 2023 by Amerio.Stephane added unigine version 2.16.1
silent Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Hi Stephane, Are you using OpenVR plugin or Oculus for that? We currently have no Quest device on our test farm to verify, so there is a chance that it may not work as expected. Amerio.Stephane Posted January 16, 2023 Author Posted January 16, 2023 I'm using the Oculus plugin. Did you mean that OpenVR should also work with an Oculus/Quest device?
silent Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Yes, it should work. Not sure about the vibration, however. How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
