park.sungsoo
hello. We provide a function that allows users to see high-definition rendering screens by utilizing the bake function of the Unigene engine. We are currently developing version 2.14, but if you look at the developer page, it says warning. page : https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.14.1/api/library/lights/class.bakelighting?rlang=cpp&words=bakeall%2Cbakeal#highlight I wonder if that means we shouldn't let the user call that function. Since the bake function is a very important function in our product, we need a little more detailed explanation of the warning. Thank you. Edited May 3, 2022 by park.sungsoo Link to comment
silent
park.sungsoo Current light baking logic have quite simple implementation and it was exposed through the API just because it was possible. But further changes may broke this simplicity and it couldn't be exposed as a single method in API. More information about this you can find in this answer: 1 How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN Link to comment
