CIGI View_Definition packet not correctly used in Master/Slave

Hello,

In 2.13.0.1, the View_Definition packet is not correctly applied if the IG runs in a Master/Slave configuration.

Tested with a brand new IG project:

  1. With the default launch script (single channel), start HEmu or ig_host and manually send View_Definition packets:
    • View type is correctly applied
    • Left/Right FOV are correctly applied
  2. Reconfigure the project to add Syncker plugin, and modify the launch script to create a Master and Slave each with a different view ID (eg. 0 on master, 1 on slave) then restart HEmu or ig_host and manually send View_Definition packets:
    • View type is applied only on Master
    • Left/Right FOV are never applied, neither on Master or Slave

This is currently BLOCKING us! If confirmed, a hot fix would be welcomed

Thanks!

Further testing done: with a single channel, if I add the command line "-sync_master 1", then the FOV is ignored even in single channel. This makes me think the issue is directly related to the Syncker.

Hi Stephane,

Thank you for the detailed description. This issue has been already fixed in the internal builds.

Please check the PM, I've sent you an IG patch there.
