AttackGorilla
I have a cloth(physics mesh) attached to a flagpole so the cloth acts like a flag. This works fine. What is problematic is that I have that flagpole attached to an object that can move (rather fast) and the cloth physics lags behind the location of the flagpole by a few frames, creating visual separation between the flag and the flagpole while the flagpole is moving. Is there a way to get the cloth physics to update perfectly 1:1 with a moving object it is attached to via "joint particles"? Link to comment
morbid
You can try t increase interaction number in Render Settings -> Physics. However, I'd suggest animated mesh skinned as a flag, as a rule, it gives you a better and more predictable result. Thanks. AttackGorilla
I cranked the iterations up but it did not fix it. Looks like I will have to go with animated mesh. Thanks. Link to comment
