park.sungsoo Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Hello. I and our team have used Unigine 2.7 version and used its coordinates system. However, our Unigine Version was changed to 2.10 and we realized that there is a difference between 2.7 and 2.10. If you look at the attached image I posted at here, you can see that they have same cordinates point (1, 1, 0) but works differently. Is there any way to use 2.7 version's cordinates system in 2.10? Thank you for always answering.
silent Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Coordinate system remains the same (Y+ is forward). What changed - the default axes for the imported models. How to import your data correctly from other software you can find in this set of the tutorials: https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.11/editor2/assets_workflow/export/export_from_blender https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.11/editor2/assets_workflow/export/export_from_maya https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.11/editor2/assets_workflow/export/export_from_3dsmax https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/2.11/editor2/assets_workflow/export/export_from_cinema4d If you will rotate you camera (on a second screenshot) to look at -Y direction (just like on a first screenshot) you will see that the object's position is the same, but the rotation now is correct (object's front facing forward).
