Scales in 3ds Max and Unigine issues

Hi!

I don't understand how export-import scaling works. See the case:

1) Create 1x1x1 meters box in 3ds Max 2011;

2) Export it to Unigine mesh.

Result (1st attachment):

Sacale field is between 0.003m and 0.254m. What is that? Why so?

3) Adding this MESH to Unigine;

4) Create box mesh from Unigine library;

5) Placing these 2 boxes near each other.

Result (2nd attachment):

Imported box (left one on picture) is larger then box from library. What is that? Why so?

It's not a problem, actually, it's your 3dsmax's unit setting problem, try using generic unit in file unit and system unit

Steve is right, you need to use generic units instead of metric units.

As for the exporter, the scale can be set in the range [0,1;10].
