[REQUEST] Add "SteamVR Input" Support (Valve Index Controllers)

With the Valve Index becoming a new standard for consumer VR and interaction it would be greatly beneficial to update the current HTC Vive plugin to support the latest OpenVR API (inc. SteamVR Input), allowing users greater control/precision and functionality from their preferred hardware:

Finger tracking is in our TODO list, but more likely it will not happen in 2.12. If you interested to extend current AppVive plugin - please, PM me. I would share AppVive plugin sources with you.

OpenXR is not yet fully adopted by HMD vendors (for example, there is no eye tracking with Varjo using OpenXR).

We are monitoring the situation and once it will be possible to switch to OpenXR completely - we definitely will do it.
