demostenes Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 It would be fine to make this multithreaded as well: When compiling 30k+shaders, it takes quite a lot of time and editor is paralyzed, even if CPU load is close to zero.

Unfortunately, right now it't not really possible (there are some limitations that needs to be resolved first inside the engine). I will create a feature request regarding this in the our internal bug tracker.
