robert.walters Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 When I right click on a landscape that I have already created and 'open with landscape tool' it forces me to re-establish all of the previous settings. So when I click 'add source' under each item it will repopulate with the most recent set of files I have used for landscape creation regardless of whether or not those files belong to this particular landscape. I also have to then manually move the play area back over my landscape. As this is very difficult to do exactly it means I have a hard time if after saving a landscape I want to go back and add additional clutter objects to the land-cover masks. Instead of just generating the masks I have to regenerate the entire landscape because if my play area is off by the few meters then the mask won't line up with the imagery. I'm using 2.9.
morbid Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Hello Robert, Unfortunately, it's a bug in 2.9. Asset Browser doesn't open landscape files, instead it just opens a blank Landscape Project. However, there's an easy workaround: Open Landscape Tool from Menu -> Tools -> Landscape Click File -> Open Asset Choose your *.landscape file We'll fix this in the next update.
