demostenes Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 (edited) When I export selection into FBX and open it in modelling tool, it does not have materials/textures mapped (elements dont have any material ID). I think this feature was lost when switching to guids. Would be possible to return it back? Part of our workflow was exporting finished structures and then merging surfaces, creating atlases, various lods etc. This is not possible without having textures and material IDs on elements (I cant merge by material ID). Simplygon even needs textures assigned to create proxy LOD. And putting manually material IDs on for example 12k elements in 3ds max is no way to go. Edited April 30, 2019 by demostenes
