demostenes Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) Inspiration for tool team :) I really like the idea, that vegetation and terrain textures are defined together. It is also logical, I am currently generating vegetation masks from terrain splat maps, so it is often quite redundant. And defining theese masks via polygon is also time saver, because I do exactly this in 3rd party terrain modelling tool to create the mask. So this technically moves procedural rules into engine and allows much much faster iteration, which is key for any artist. Edited April 5, 2019 by demostenes 1
