werner.poetzelberger Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 (edited) Hey, I created a Terrain and added a LOD>Heights>density level in the node properties (which is 1/4) of the next one. I do edit this level via the Brush edit, this works. Save>reload world, and my changes are gone. I cant even see the density level in the viewport. Is there some thing I need to respect? Best. morbid Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Hi Werner, Just created a custom LOD and added some data. World reload didn't wipe it. May I ask you how you're checking this? Hae you increased visibility distance? On the picture you can see modified 5 mppx LOD. werner.poetzelberger Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 (edited) Soo. I tried again. I am painting a height bump in the lod0. Apply it > Save World > Reload World Heigt info is gone Same thing happens, if I change the Viewing distance. Immidiately the detail is gone, and it is not showing the LOD0 any more, but the LOD1. There is NO LOD 0. eh? Edited April 3, 2019 by werner.poetzelberger
werner.poetzelberger Posted April 4, 2019 Author Posted April 4, 2019 I recreated the LODs and the whole landscape with the Landscape tool. I added manual LODs . Creation went well and as well the manual editing, saving and reloading. This way it works.
morbid Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Hi Werner, I actually reproduced weird behavior when custom LOD isn't visualized or visualized partially. We'll take a look into this. Thanks.
