silent Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Hi Werner, Hardware accelerated raytracing is for sure looks quite interesting. With a fast denoiser you can already get a good-looking picture even with 1 ray per pixel. I think that's the main focus for the next couple of years will be in improving denoise algorithms. We definitely looking forward to implement some raytracing magic in 3.x engine branch. Right now we are pretty much limited to the current Install base minimal specs (Windows 7, DX11 only). With a new minspec and Vulkan API we can afford some additional features like real raytraced AO or improved RTGI.
